Samsung to Boost Mobile Phone Output in Korea

Korea's Samsung Electronics has announced an investment of 200 billion Won (US$215.6 million; US$1 = 927.6 Won) in boosting its domestic output of mobile phones. The investment will be injected into Samsung's Gumi plant in Korea, with a plan to increase its output from 69 million units in 2006 to 75 million units this year.
